Half-Life: Alyx is a 2020 virtual reality (VR) first-person shooter developed and published by Valve. Set between the events of Half-Life (1998) and Half-Life 2 (2004), players control Alyx Vance on a mission to seize a superweapon belonging to the alien Combine. Players use VR to interact with the environment and fight enemies, using "gravity gloves" to manipulate objects, similarly to the gravity gun from Half-Life 2.

The previous Half-Life game, Episode Two, was released in 2007. After several failed attempts to develop further Half-Life projects, Valve began experimenting with VR in the mid-2010s, recognizing the demand for a large-scale VR game. They experimented with prototypes using their various intellectual properties, such as Portal, and found that Half-Life best suited VR. Alyx entered full production using Valve's new Source 2 engine in 2016, with the largest team in Valve's history.

Alyx was released for Windows in March 2020 and for Linux in May 2020, with support for most PC-compatible VR headsets. It received acclaim for its graphics, voice acting, narrative, and atmosphere, and has been cited as VR's first killer app.

Doom Eternal is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. The sequel to Doom (2016), and the fifth main game in the Doom series, it was released on March 20, 2020, for Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia and Xbox One, with a version for Nintendo Switch being released on December 8, 2020 and versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S being planned. Set some time after the events of the 2016 game, the story follows the Doom Slayer once again, on a mission to end Hell's consumption of Earth and foil the alien Maykrs' plans to exterminate humanity.

Along with the single-player campaign, a multiplayer mode titled "Battlemode" was introduced. In this mode, players can either play as the Doom Slayer or as a demon, and fight until either the Doom Slayer defeats the demons, or vice versa. Another mode, titled "Invasion", is currently in development. 

Upon release, Doom Eternal received critical acclaim, with praise for its campaign, graphics, level design, soundtrack and combat mechanics, though some disliked the increased focus on storytelling and its platforming sections. Doom Eternal received five nominations at The Game Awards for 2020, including Game of the Year and Best Action Game.

This game follows the main protagonist Goku and the Z-Fighters. Unlike most of the games in the franchise, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is both a role playing game and a fighting game.[7] The player can do more than just battle their opponents, like fishing, collect Z orbs, eating, drive around with their hover Car, training and putting characters in soul emblems as if the player is part of the surrounding Dragon Ball world.[8] The game follows the progression of Dragon Ball Z, while the player interacts with the surrounding world as the different playable characters. This allows the player to explore the world, complete side quests, and progress the story.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot currently follows the main story of the Dragon Ball Z series, with some new added moments.[8] The game is broken up into four storylines, beginning with the first chapter known as the Saiyan Saga, followed by the Namek Saga, continued with the Android Saga, during the Android Saga The player acquires their hover car and concluding with the Buu Saga. While following the story the player is also able to interact with the surrounding worlds, level up their character, and complete side missions. 

There are currently seven playable characters in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot that the player will guide throughout the story. These include Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Future Trunks, Gotenks, and Vegito.[9] As the player progresses through the game, they will unlock new characters to play.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing game developed and published by CD Projekt. The story takes place in 2077 at Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customisable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat.

Cyberpunk 2077 was developed using the REDengine 4 by a team of around 500, exceeding the number that worked on the studio's previous game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (2015). CD Projekt launched a new division in Wrocław, Poland, and partnered with Digital Scapes, Nvidia, QLOC, and Jali Research to aid the production. 

Cyberpunk creator Mike Pondsmith was a consultant, and actor Keanu Reeves has a starring role. 1). Power Weapons

Power Weapons are the closest to current-day guns. The big difference is that they're capable of ricocheting bullets off surfaces so you can shoot enemies hiding behind corners and cover. You can see how your bullets will bounce with a handy preview line as you aim.
